Congratulations to the shortlisted entries for the inaugural FORS Fleet Operators Awards.

Here’s a summary of what made them stand out:

Fox Brothers LTD & Hurt Plant Hire LTD – Project LENS

Fox Brothers retrofitted their fleet with AI dashcams, enabling real-time driver monitoring and proactive coaching. This investment reduced risky behaviors, collisions, and claims costs, while fostering a safety-led culture. FORS accreditation inspired continuous improvement, embedding best practices and driving measurable safety enhancements across their operations.

PumpApp Ltd – Fuel Without Friction

PumpApp’s mobile refuelling service eliminates depot detours, saving time, reducing mileage, and streamlining administration for fleet operators. Their digital portal ensures transparency and control. Achieving FORS Gold drove improvements in safety, environmental training, and operational data tracking, aligning their innovation with industry-leading compliance and efficiency standards.

MSG Transport UK Ltd – Holcim

MSG Transport UK focused on driver training and incident awareness, aiming to reduce accidents and near-misses.

AC Services Banbury – Fleet Compliance

AC Services Banbury implemented a comprehensive training matrix, tracking all driver qualifications, training, and compliance data. Regular checks and performance incentives ensure risk-free, compliant operations. This system enabled them to achieve and maintain FORS Gold, demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement and high safety standards.

First Mile – Cargo Bikes

First Mile pioneered FORS-accredited cargo bike operations, integrating bikes for last-mile collections in urban areas. Adapting HGV policies, they ensured safety, compliance, and environmental benefits. Specialist training and proactive maintenance improved reliability, while FORS Silver accreditation set a new benchmark for sustainable, professional urban logistics.

KeolisAmey Docklands – 100% EV

KeolisAmey Docklands achieved a fully electric fleet ahead of schedule, reducing emissions and operational costs. Supported by FORS resources and training, the project improved efficiency, compliance, and community wellbeing. Their transition to zero-emission vehicles demonstrates leadership in sustainable transport and commitment to environmental and social governance.

Wilson James – Green Fleet Initiative

Wilson James replaced 20% of diesel vans with electric vehicles, supported by new charging infrastructure. Their holistic approach integrates sustainability, safety, and regulatory compliance, delivering measurable environmental and safety benefits. FORS Gold accreditation provided the framework for excellence, validating their leadership in sustainable, high-quality fleet management.

Award Categories

FORS operators are invited to submit entries in one of the following categories:

  • Safety – For initiatives that have significantly improved fleet safety.
  • Efficiency – For projects that have enhanced operational performance.
  • Sustainability – For actions that have reduced environmental impact and promoted greener practices.

Each entry should describe a project implemented within the past year that has delivered measurable improvements. Submissions are limited to 600 words and must clearly align with the chosen category.
