From being appointed as the first female Traffic Commissioner (2000–2012) and then the first female Senior Traffic Commissioner (2012–2017), Beverley Bell CBE has long been a recognised name in the transport sector.

Starting as a solicitor in 1985 and opening her own practice in 1994, Beverley has devoted her career to transport law and driving significant and positive change.

In 2017, Queen Elizabeth II awarded Beverley a CBE for services to road safety and the freight industry. Beverley now leads her own consulting and training company, continuing to support the transport industry.
